Alaskans have waited seven long years to receive a fair and sizable dividend
the government pays an annual dividend to it's residents as a share of the state's oil wealth through the Alaska's Permanent Fund
This year there'll be two checks combined into one, as dividens will be joined by a $650 dollar energy relief payment for all residents
Alaskans, especially in rural communities, will have to pay extraordinarily high fuel and heating oil bills this winter
Alaskans can expect payouts of up to $3,200 per person to be deposited into bank accounts on Nov. 20
including a payment of $650 meant to offset higher fuel costs, according to a government announcement last month
Paper checks will start being sent October 3 while those who receive direct deposits will see it as soon as novemebr 20.
The $2,550 payment is the largest dividend ever sent by Alaska's Permanent Fund since it was created in 1982
Those who have been residents of Alaska for the past calendar year before the date of their application for the dividend
Those residents that didn't live in Alaska for over 180 days must not have claimed residence in any other place.
