Inflation relief payments are going to provide to combat the rising gas prices to the taxpayers of Indiana.
These relief payments would be delivered to taxpayers in coming weeks.
The State legislature decided to provide payments to Indiana between $200 and $1,050 depending on income and family size.
The distribution of these payments will be done in form of direct deposits and mailed debit cards mentioned by a spokesperson on Tuesday.
Indiana who filed tax return electronically and through direct deposit they received their tax refund will be getting payments starting Oct. 7 to Oct. 25.
The remaining Indiana will receive payments deposited between Oct. 28 and Nov. 14.
The expectation is that in October 90% of direct deposit will be issued.
Those who did not receive a refund through direct deposit and received the Golden State Stimulus will receive debit card from Oct. 25 to Dec. 10.
As the massive rise in the prices of gas this week across Indiana as result the payments will pe processing soon.
The inflation felt in the prices of gas, utilities, housing and groceries will not be completely covered by this payment.
