Sigiriya Rock, located in the heart of Sri Lanka, is an ancient rock fort and palace surrounded by forests. Sigiriya is one of the most prominent places of interest in Sri Lanka, which is built on a rock about 200 meters high. The entrance to the tip of the palace was designed in the shape of a lion’s mouth, hence it is known as Sigiriya Rock. Which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is also called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

The Rocky Palace is situated in the center of the island between the cities of Dambulla and Hai Barane on a vast rocky plateau 370 meters above sea level. The Sigiriya Rock Plateau, composed of volcanic magma, is 200 meters higher than the surrounding forests. Which looks no less than a surprise when seen from a distance.
